Family SupportThe National MPS Society is committed to offering a means for affected families, friends and caregivers to communicate with each other. Our site plans to accomplish this goal through the following channels: Education Scholarships DEADLINE March 15, 2008 Education scholarships of $1,000 are available for individuals affected with MPS and related diseases and their siblings and children who are graduating seniors, have a high school diploma or equivalent, or are currently attending a college, university, or a trade or professional school. The Board of Directors' Family Support Committee is pleased to announce the Family Assistance Program (FAP) funding for Parents/guardians of an individual with MPS or related disease or an adult with MPS.
The Family Assistance Program, with funding from the board of directors, has been sponsoring social gatherings of Society members for several years.
